International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women

MAKE NOISE about violence against women.

November 25 was the International Day for the Elimination of #Violence against #Women, and our thoughts are with Giulia Cecchettin and all women victims of gender-based violence.

From an ISTAT survey, 7 out of 10 women do not know how to recognize violence. Reporting is the only tool to get out of it, but there is a lack of awareness of the fact that exercising violence on a woman is a #crime. This means that all of us need to act as social #sentinels.

We strongly believe that it is the duty of each of us to make our contribution in order to solve this tragic issue: to use the right words, counter stereotypes and implement gender equality, including in the #workplace.

“Sexual, racial, gender violence and other forms of discrimination and violence cannot be eliminated without changing #culture.”

There is #NOEXCUSE for violence against women and girls.
